Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the apartment complex, including leasing, maintenance, and tenant relations.
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of leasing, including advertising available units, conducting tours, screening applicants, and preparing lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of rental payments, expenses, and tenant information.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including fair housing laws and building codes.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs with maintenance staff or external contractors to ensure the property is well-maintained.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify any maintenance or safety issues.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an apartment manager or in a similar role is preferred.
- Understanding of landlord-tenant law and legal administrative procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with tenants, staff, and vendors.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) for record keeping and reporting purposes.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
